MD Direct is designed for aspiring physicians who want a stronger academic foundation before starting medical school. It is built for science majors and career changers who have completed key prerequisites and want a clear path into the ACSOM MD Program. The MCAT is not required for admission to MD Direct. The MD Direct Program Online is an intensive online bridge that prepares students to enter the ACSOM MD Program with greater readiness and confidence. Students build stronger biomedical science knowledge, develop early clinical reasoning, and prepare for the pace and assessment style of medical school. Upon successful completion, students move forward into the MD Program at ACSOM. |

Admissions Criteria: Bachelor’s degree required (any major accepted if prerequisites are completed)
Prerequisites include: Waivers/substitutions may be considered case-by-case. - 2 semesters of Biology (General Biology or higher)
- 2 semesters General Chemistry
- 1 semester Organic Chemistry
- 1 semester Algebra or Biostatistics
- 1 semester Physics
